Tennis Elbow Manager 1.0d for Windows & Mac OSX :
Here an important update for Tennis Elbow Manager, free for everybody who already bought
it, as usually.
The list of additions and changes :
New features :

Match : point by point score progression in addition of the game by game progression

Wildcard : can get a wildcard when entering a full tournament in your home country
(it's automatic, it depends if other players already got wildcard or not)

Wildcard : CPU players can get wildcard for Challengers, Futures & qualifying
draws

New court : the NewLine synthetic replaces the Classic Synthethic at the Australian
Open

Stats : best serve speed, average 1st & 2nd serve speeds

Records : Tournament past champions screen

Year 2024 added, so you can start the game in 2009
-
Rankings : updated to end of year 2008

Difficulty : the game is sensibly harder after 2010, both for men & women (ie:
the #1 and some other top 20 players are stronger)

Stats : volley stats for women, and aces tuned
-
Draws : Seeds are randomly swapped in the draws (except #1 & #2)

Players : some players with incorrect birth date have been fixed
-
Autosave : now, in windowed mode, if you exit the game by clicking on the top-right
cross, where you are in a menu without the "Exit" button, then the game won't
be saved anymore, instead of saving a corrupted state (so you'll lose all progress
made since the last automatically saved game)

Match Preview : the Head To Head button is now working

Localization : players, team members & coach are now correctly located in the
country where the Davis Cup encounter takes place
/!\ Note : due to important additions,
your previously saved games aren't compatible with this new version. Therefore, you should
finish your current game before installing this new version.
Tennis Elbow 2009 1.0a for Windows :
Thanks to the numerous comments, critics & suggestions from many Tennis Elbow users,
the game already got a lot of improvements in the past 3 months and is now updated to
the version 1.0a, free for everybody who already bought it, as usually.
New Features :

4 Gestures : raging fist, racket throwing, applauding & apology ; gestures
are context sensitive; ie: you can do the raging fist only when winning a point, not
losing it ; all gestures can be activated at the end of the point by pressing B1+B2+down
or B1+B2+up

World Tour : Tournament past champions screen

Wildcard : tournament directors of the following week can propose you a wildcard
when you reach the semifinals or better of your current tournament

Wildcard : can get a wildcard when entering a full tournament in your home country
(it's automatic, it depends if other players already got wildcard or not)

Wildcard : CPU players can get wildcard for Challengers, Futures & qualifying
draws

Gameplay : the ball sometimes touches the net during the serve

World Tour : added a warning when selecting a tournament occurring in more than
30 weeks

World Tour : now, if you don't play in December, you get a little bonus of experience
points

World Tour : some players tuned

Gameplay : the more the ball is low under the waist, the less top spin one can
put in it (both for human & CPU players)

Gameplay : low volley & medium volleys are noticeably more effective

Gameplay : failed drop shots can't fly super fast away anymore

AI : the CPU player rushes the net a lot better when doing a serve-and-volley
-
Online : Autolag calculation slightly tuned to take more in account the variation
of ping, so it should be a bit higher when the ping is instable

/!\ Note for Mac OSX users : TE2009 is
currently not available for Mac OSX. The port will start very shortly, and should hopefully
be done by mid-March. If the port is successful, everybody who will have bought TE2006
Mac since the initial Windows release of TE2009 will get TE2009 Mac for free. More news
about this in the forum
in the incoming weeks.
